Transfer Admission

Bloomsburg University is looking for students who are ready to take on the next challenge and finish a four-year degree. The application process helps us better understand how your previous college credits have prepared you for a Bloom degree.

  1. Apply

    Submit your online application and $35 fee.

    Start your application by creating a new account. Click “Sign up” to begin. As a first-year student, you should choose “Undergraduate” when prompted.

  2. Send Your Transcripts

    Please submit official transcripts from all colleges you've attended.

    If you've completed less than 12 college credits, you'll also need to send an official copy of your high school transcripts.

    Transcripts can be sent electronically or mailed to: Bloomsburg University Office of Admissions 400 E. Second Street Bloomsburg, PA 17815-1301.

  3. Check your status

    You're able to check your admission status by either logging into your online application or by contacting your Admissions Recruiter.

    Admission Criteria

    • A college GPA of 2.5+ is preferred for most majors, but we'll consider a minimum 2.0 GPA.
    • If you've earned less than 12 college credits, you'll be evaluated on both your high school and college transcripts and must meet the minimum admission guidelines for first-year students.
