We understand that getting to know us is an important part of your college decision.  That's why we have lots of options for you.

In-Person Campus Visits

The best way to know us is to come see us.

Schedule a Campus Visit

You may have heard that Bloomsburg University has moved to remote delivery of nearly all its classes for this fall. However, we still plan to offer in-person campus tours to prospective students and their supporters. If you registered for a campus visit, we look forward to seeing you and committed to keeping you and your supporters safe by following all PA Department of Health guidelines. For more details, please visit our Coronavirus website for up-to-date details. We can't wait to see you on campus!

We are looking forward to seeing you for your scheduled on-campus visit. Before you come to campus, we wanted to inform you that members of the BU Community have tested positive for COVID-19. In response, the University is actively engaging in appropriate safety precautions. For daily updates, please refer to

As we proactively monitor the entire campus community, we will continue to collaborate and coordinate with Geisinger Health, the Columbia County Department of Health, and the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Bloomsburg University reminds all members of the BU community to continue to wear a face mask, adhere to proper social distancing, and wash hands frequently.

If you would prefer to reschedule your campus visit to a later date, please contact our office. You can also explore Bloomsburg virtually from the comfort of your own home (options are listed in the tab above).

In preparation for your visit, please make note of the requirements below. These have been developed in accordance with health directives provided by the Governor, the Department of Health and the following Center for Disease Control [] (CDC) guidance. If you, or anyone who may be visiting with you, have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or have symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that you contact our admissions team at or 570-389-4316 to reschedule your visit – we'll be here for you!

  • Wear A Mask - All visitors on-campus are required to wear a mask as an essential personal protective equipment (PPE) safety item. If you need a mask, we will be happy to provide one to you.
  • Face shields will be provided for individuals who cannot wear a mask due to health issues or who may be deaf or hard of hearing. Your mask should be worn and properly placed (over your mouth and nose) upon arrival onto the campus property, or when leaving your personal vehicle.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available in multiple locations on campus.
  • Each student is allowed two guests. We have to limit our total group size, including employees, to ensure social distancing practices.
  • Visitors should maintain social distancing of a minimum of six feet of distance from others at all times while on campus. This is not an exemption from wearing a mask.
  • Practice Good Hygiene – Good hygiene includes proper handwashing, avoiding touching your nose, eyes, and mouth, coughing and sneezing into your elbow followed by immediate hand sanitizing.
  • All visitors are asked to perform a symptom assessment before arriving on campus for symptoms of COVID-19, including 1) fever, cough, or shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, or 2) at least two of these symptoms: fever, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat or new loss of taste or smell. Contact us to reschedule should you be experiencing any of these symptoms or feel ill on the day of your visit.
  • There may be limited access to facilities while you are on campus, and appointments will not be available with Admissions or other offices (i.e. faculty or financial aid).
  • If you have a need to meet with another department, please contact them directly to coordinate a phone or virtual appointment. You can find contact information for any department at and go to the A-Z index.
  • Please bring your personal water bottle(s) for your visit. There is a water filling station near the Office of Admissions.
  • Please use this campus map to navigate campus.
  • The University Store is currently closed due to safety preparations. Don't worry…feel free to order items on their website and set up for curbside pick up when you visit campus. Learn how to get BU gear on the University Store website.
